Hello! I am Lamija Bilalbegović, the Founder of EmpowerED, and a student of the IB Diploma Program at Druga Gimnazija Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. I started EmpowerED with the goal of providing interactive, efficient, and accessible financial literacy education to youth.

Our first course sessions took place between January and March 2026, with more to come in the summer. Aside from holding sessions at the American Corner in Sarajevo, we aspire to hold workshops and online courses in the future.

To me, EmpowerED is an initiative to give the youth of today the financial literacy knowledge needed for tomorrow.
